Jason,
It doesn't make sense that the OT wouldn't do that. How does the 
therapist expect your son to eat while he's at school? I assume that 
your son is at school for full time?  It would seem to me that eating 
is a skill that he needs to have at school so that he can eat 
appropriately with the other students.
