JOIN NFBF-PARENTS DIVISION and MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD BY VOTING AT NFBF-PARENTS DIVISION STATE CONVENTION 2009 

 

For a minimal membership fee of just $10 individual or $20 family, you too can be a part of NFBF-Parents

 

The members of this organization shall be PARENTS of blind children, EDUCATORS of blind children, and OTHERS interested in promoting the purposes of this organization.  For so long as this organization is affiliated with the National Federation of the Blind the members of this organization will be members of the National Federation of the Blind and shall have the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities as other members of the National Federation of the Blind. You’ve heard the saying “It takes a Village to Raise a Child”. PARENTS of BLIND children NEEDS YOU! Sighted parents need advice and connectivity with blind people. They need your help learning how to live in their child’s blind world, so they can in turn help their child learn to live in a sighted world. 

 

Parents need advisors and mentors, but most of all they need friends. Friends that think it’s o.k. to be blind.
