One way to avoid this problem in the future is to make sure that the new O&M 
instructor provides good lessons that occur in auditoriums and on stages.

Here's a resource--a lesson plan-- for you to hand your new O&M instructor 
and to share with your daughters other teachers.  It's from Doris 
Willoughby, an awesome teacher and author who pioneered NFB philosophy in 
the teaching of blind children.

The article is reprinted from the book Modular Instruction for Independent 
Travel for Students who are Blind or Visually Impaired.  I highly recommend 
it!  It is very "readable," and practical and easy for non-professionals to 
understand and implement, too.
