Today Winona graduated from middle school. Talk about mixed feelings!

The band director gave Winona the All-State Honor Band plaque as the sole participant in that coveted spot. She was also given the Principal's award for exemplifying the characteristics that represent our school. Both brought standing ovations and shouts of "Winona! Winona!" from the students. Very touching to see and hear. 

With a different Braille teacher who is more attuned to the needs of blind, can't wait to see what high school will bring!
