That is so very cool!!!  We adopted our daughter from China when she was 8 and now she will be 13 in February.  So much joy.  Contgrats!!

We are in China right now, we just met our daughter yesterday!  She is a leader - precocious, sassy, and on-the-go!  I am completely smitten!  She knows exactly what, how, where, when and why she wants something and makes no bones about telling anyone who will listen to her!  She told the waitress last night that we would be back tomorrow and what we will eat.  She is only 6!!!!  I think that I have my job cut out!  As far as I can tell, she has zero vision, zero light perception, but don't tell her that!  Her little hands are flying everywhere - looking around, figuring things out. I'm almost afraid to show her how to use the elevator - she'll take off on her own!  I brought her cane, but I think we'll do a few more days of depending on mom to foster our bonding and trust.  I think that once I show her the cane there will be NO stopping her!
