Hi all -

I wrote about a month ago about finding a Braille tutor in Paris for the summer for my daughter, Zelda. Well, now that things are in place, I'd like to tell you about my project: a book that I am writing called "La Petite Zelda goes to Paris." It's the story of a 6 yr old girl who is blind and goes to Paris for the first time to discover the city through taste, touch, smell and sound. It will be  a wonderfully illustrated children's book  written in English, French and American Braille. 
I am looking for publishing and transcribing suggestions as well as thoughts on sponsorships.
Currently, my project is in www.kickstarter.com (search for the title: La Petite Zelda goes to Paris.

It's a project I have been dreaming of for a while so any input is appreciated. Has anyone else out there written a children's book?
