[blindkid] used Perkins Braillers

Thanks Richard,

Yes, I've asked, and asked, and asked again. He is going back to the same
school (which is the state school for the blind, but when he was at the
public school, I got the same refusal for the same reason). The policy is no
loaning in the summer--because they have to repair/recondition them.  Yes,
it's preposterous.  I guess I'll start on this issue now.  It's always
something, isn't it?

And wow!  thanks for that direct link!  I missed some of these--especially
the Glendale one. I could drive up to pick that one up, even (I'm in
Tucson).

Or maybe I'll just make this the summer he really learns the slate and
stylus and use next year's IEP process to work on getting summer loaners.

I really appreciate all the help!
