[blindkid] What are your thoughts on coloring?

My thoughts if your child likes to color then color. If they can't see the
page and its not adapted to him at all. Whats the point.

Its realy really important to my daughter who loves to color that she is
using the right colors. She has some vision and was sighted a year and a
half ago so its different for her.

I always considered coloring filler time. What is the lesson they are
teaching him? If artistic self expression is important to the lesson why
dont' they have them use 3d art mediums. LIke wiki sticks or clay. Maybe
the educational benefit is lost to me.
I guess my question to the teachers is what is the educational benefit for
coloring for your son. Maybe I am missing what the educational benefit is.

Are they pulling him out of class during more valuable times? Is he getting
technology education?
