[blindkid] Question about Student Loan Forgiveness for Parent

Carrie,
I have to agree with Natae. I feel this list serve is a safe place to ask
simple questions like hers. She isn't trying to use her sons blindness as
an advantage to get out of her loans, she was just asking if anyone had
heard of loan forgiveness for her situation. My daughter is 12 months
old and legally blind with ONH. I have learned SOOOO much in these past 8
months about free programs, discounts, charities, foundations, etc that
surround the blind/visually impaired world. There is still so much more
that I don't know about and I think Natae is in the same boat as me. It was
just a simple question about loan forgiveness and one I hadn't thought
about either.
I hope we can find an answer for her and if not, we can atleast support her
in her selfless decision to stay at home and homeschool her children.
