Just tell her the truth, glasses work for some people, and they don't 
work for others because their eyes are different.  Don't put value 
judgments on things, something is better then something else etc., but 
otherwise just explain it to her in words she can understand.  Kids are 
pretty resilient.  If you don't act like this is a big deal, she won't 
either.
