Bernie Jacobs Here.  Yes there are Contractions in both words.

1.  Let's take the word "Thank."  You have the "TH" sign, Dots
1-4-5-6.  "ank" is simply spelled out as is.

2.  You:  The word You is simply the Braille letter "Y," Dots 1-3-4-5-6.
