[blindkid] New computer recommendations, anyone?

Hello:

When I buy a new computer and especially a laptop, I always get the extended warranty. When buying a PC, it may be possible to get on site service. This will help a lot when you need service and you don't have to take your PC somewhere. Having the warranty on a laptop saved us big time when a drink (I didn't do it) was dumped on the keyboard.
I would also recommend getting a sturdy case for a laptop such as those from Pelican. The site: http://www.swps.com sells these for a good price. I bought a laptop case that has wheels. You can customize the foam insert and the case can be checked when flying. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Robert

Eric
HP laptop, as well as desktop is very compatible with all the blind
software--buying new definitely bypasses all the issues of a refurbished
machine.
