Penny,
I think your daughter needs to suggest to the teacher to teach the
reluctant child. A mentor has always proven to really inspire and move a
child in ideas. Your daughter could read for her and she could see how
wonderful it could be, then teach some beginning tricks to get her
going--or just read with her...IF she only learned and practiced braille
too--she could read faster....
