Yes, many of the subtests require good vision as a base for completion of
the required task (subtests).

I am a parent of two blind children and a psychologist who specializes in
evaluation of children and adolescents.

Is a vision impairment a valid reason not to give a child a "complete" 
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-fourth edition?  The final
conclusion was that it would be inappropriate?  Given 5 subtests only.
