Carol asked:

Hi Everyone,

I have received a request from Toys R Us to find out if there is any
one place--or even several places--which provide information on
accessible apps. They would also like to know whether the apps were
specially created for people with disabilities or if they were
created for the general public and simply work well for people with
disabilities.

If you can help me with this information, I would really appreciate it.

Carol

In the Windows games world, there are a number of websites that provide information on accessible applications, including games. One of the top sites to check is AbleGamers.com Another place to look, especially for games that are accessible to the blind, is www.7128.com. They have a list of the top25 websites for gamers who are motion impaired, blind, and deaf.

I am not aware of any listing of accessible mobile apps for non-iPhone/Pad phones and pads. I am sure there are some. Applevis is definitely the place to go in the iIPhone/Pad world.
