WE HONOR OUR MOTHERS
We honour our Mothers far and wide,
Those departed or by our side.
Their voices in our hearts we hear,
The wisdom taught us, Oh so clear.
Moms whose hearts beat strong,
We fight with faith and carry on.
While on our knees are heard the battle cries,
The sounds that reach those Heavenly skies!
Other moms took under their wings,
those broken ones who could not sing,
You gave them love, hope and cheer.
You reached inside and calmed their fear.
Mothers are born to bear the sorrow,
We never know what holds tomorrow.
Some lost children and many in pain,
but one day you'll see them once again.
Single moms or adopted mothers,
we carry the weight of many others.
God has placed upon your soul,
Many who are bent, bowed low.
God has placed within a Mother,
A heart that is like no other.
Though times are rough and wounds are sore,
He will heal your pain and heart restore!
For moms whose children they have lost,
God will uphold you at any cost.
One day soon, all this will pass,
You will be reunited with them at last.
To All Mothers, we honor you,
even though are hearts are blue.
To see your face, just once more,
Or hear your voice walk thru that door.
For all Mothers, we did our best,
Now we must leave to God the rest.
Mistakes we made, there is no doubt,
We trust Heavenly Father to turn this about.
Dear Lord, this job is like no other,
Keep us strong, help us recover.
Heal the wounds and lift our pain,
Restore us, Oh Lord once again!
To All Mothers, we honor you so,
Your calling is mighty, here below.
Your love was felt and hearts you warmed,
Though you had to battle many a storm!
