Dear Parent(s), 

          Hello to you!  The TN National Organization of Parents of Blind Children is a division of the TN National Federation of the Blind (NFB).  We are a newly formed group with big plans!  The NFB and NOPBC are wonderful groups that stress that blind people, given proper training and opportunity, can reduce their blindness to only a nuisance and can live normal, fulfilling lives!  That is what we expect for our children!  The PBC is all about advocating for our children, educating the public, providing mentors, and sharing knowledge/experience.  We would love to have you and your family as part of the group!
          So, let's get together!  You and your family are cordially invited to the TN PBC Fall Picnic!  Please pack your own picnic and join us, Saturday September 28 at 12:00p Central Time, on the beautiful TN School for the Blind play grounds for a few hours of socializing and meeting new faces!  We will have a breif division meeting, followed by our lunches and social/play time.  
          Also, join our FaceBook group!  A place for parents of blind kids to exchange resources, ask questions, or simply brag on your kiddo!  We are a private group, so only group members can see the information and other group members.  Look us up and ask to join!   TN Parents of Blind Children (TN NOPBC)
