[blindkid] Kids' Preferences for Reading Electronic Braille?

I can't speak for what is working for students. My girls are not quite reading braille books on electronic devices yet. I have used Read2Go on my iPhone with a Focus 14 display, and I liked it a lot. The thing people do need to do in order to make it work is to turn off the voice in Read2Go. So it is possible that those who were having a hard time using a display did not do this.

Hi Penny and Traci,

What apps do your kids like for reading books or other text in Braille on iPads? What works best, and what doesn't work well at all? Just trying to get a snapshot of what kids are liking best these days. Rather than guessing at what options to recommend to others, I'd like to know what is already working for students.

Penny, is she learning any laptop skills with speech software?  Just curious...  Mine are in elem and use iPad with refreshabraille too.
