[blindkid] Incorporating the Expanded Core Curriculum into the lives of visually impaired children at home

Carol, I like your points.  I am going to make an observation from the
perspective of a TVI.  Many parents don't, won't or can't teach their
children independent living skills.  I would love that to be the
responsibility of parents and, fortunately, I had a parent who did
that.  All too often parents don't think their children can or should
have those skills.  I have talked to some parents about it and they
just don't listen.  I am sure this is true of all parents, whether
their child is blind or not.
It is also very hard to work into the day of most of our students
because they are so busy with their classwork. I think it is
observations of many TVIs and represents their experiences.
