[blindkid] Middle schoolers

I was all against the UEB math (as I was on the deciding board, but as the
lone parent, I'm sure you know how that went)...  Anyways, now that I am
learning it, I do like it, its much more clear, especially since I do all
the braille math transcription and there are times I am uncertain of what
to do, I'm thinking UEB will be much more black and white.

I don't agree in the state overriding an IEP's team or parental decision
and I am unhappy with that.  I don't know why they didn't just let the
natural timeline allow the transition as our younger kids learn UEB math,
it would all come out in the wash, it will just take a bit longer.  But for
my 5th grader, its a toss up, but I think we will go ahead and learn the
UEB Math.  I'm glad to hear a high schooler made the transition so
quickly.  That makes me feel a bit better.  :)
