Dear Parents and Teachers,
 
Since 2008 the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois has sponsored
Freedom Link, a transitions program for blind middle school and high school
students. Members meet monthly in downtown Chicago and travel throughout
the city with blind mentors. The group visits restaurants, stores, and
museums, and enjoys such outings as a German street fair and a trip to Navy
Pier. I'm attaching the flier and application for the 2015-2016 program,
which will hold its first meeting in October. Please pass this information
to anyone who might be interested.
