[blindkid] 2016 Distinguished Teacher of Blind Children Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 Distinguished Teacher of
Blind Children Award, sponsored by the National Organization of Parents of
Blind Children. I am attaching the short article about the award that will
appear in the winter 2016 issue of Future Reflections and which was printed
in the December 2015 issue of the Braille Monitor. The article includes the
application form, which can be sent to Carla via email or snail mail. This
is a wonderful opportunity to honor a teacher who is making a positive
difference in the lives of blind children! If your child has or has had a
teacher who upholds high expectations and opens opportunities, here is a
wonderful chance to win him or her some well deserved recognition.
