Hi there,
I would love to share information about the summer programs Ablr is offering, if that is appropriate. Below you will find an overview of our 2026 summer opportunities.

Ablr Summer Programs
We are excited to offer 4-week summer programs designed to help high school students build essential workplace, communication, and college readiness skills in a structured and supportive environment. Programs will be offered in June, July, and August. Students may participate in multiple sessions, as they are scheduled on different days. Our three focused learning pathways include:

Internship Experience Program
Students gain hands-on experience with real-world tasks while developing communication, teamwork, and workplace readiness skills through a paid internship. This experience supports Pre-ETS recruitment efforts while exposing students to careers in workforce development, disability services, and communications. Participants complete weekly tasks, engage in informational interviews with professionals, log their hours, and receive payment for their time.
Resume and Interview Skills Program
This program focuses on job readiness. Students will build a professional resume, practice mock interviews, and create an action plan to address employment barriers. By the end of the program, each participant will have a completed resume and interview experience.
College Essay and Application Skills Program
Students receive support in writing college or scholarship essays and learning how to effectively communicate their strengths and experiences. Participants will explore post-secondary options, receive guided writing feedback, and complete a polished essay while building confidence in self-advocacy and storytelling.

Across all programs, students will:

  *   Build confidence in professional communication
  *   Strengthen independence and self-advocacy skills
  *   Gain exposure to workplace expectations
  *   Develop skills that support future employment and education
