Gates Scholarships

Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) is currently seeking nominations for outstanding students of color seeking assistance with paying for college.
You are invited to nominate outstanding students of color that you know and who you feel would benefit from this award. These scholarships, which the Gates Foundation awards to 1,000 students per year with exceptional GPAs and who demonstrate remarkable leadership abilities either through community service or in extracurricular activities, are for full-time undergraduates and some graduate study students.
All applications must be submitted and postmarked by January 1, 2009.
