Well, given that the SSI beneficiaries are going to be a large percentage of
the people who will be benefiting from these types of lawsuits, you need
their cooperation to get the changes needed to force companies into
compliance for accesssibility, so in the future, these considerations are
going to have to be adopted.

You can't just go around saying oh well they are not paying taxes let's
jteach them a lesson, because they don't have you skills, and in most cases,
they are being discriminated against, hence the lawsuits.

You need these people to be able to benefit from a lawsuit, otherwise why
should they care? Why should they be included if they will not benefit from
any lawsuit. They become the people who benefit from the slow improvements
made in technology which is a factor which is driven by IT personnel who
care, not the people who are being forced into compliance. Improvements are
made by people who are trying to help. Everything else is just maintenance.

So if you want to get things done, you had better change the attitude and
realize that not everyone is as fortunate as yourselves. And remember when
people loose their SSI, it is not only the money, its the medications, but
all of the other support that goes with it and so it can be catastrophic the
amount of damage that can be done to these people, just so you can get a
check as a member of the same class as these people.
