Subject: Civil Rights Division Job Announcements
The Civil Rights Division (Division) would like to thank each of you for participating in our efforts to increase outreach to lawyers interested in working for the Division. By agreeing to receive our attorney job announcements, you are helping to make sure we have the best lawyers we can find. The application period for several of our lawyer positions will be closing within a week; and several others will close in the next few weeks. If you have a convenient way to remind your constituents of the looming deadline, we would very much appreciate it.
The Division hopes to attract a broad and diverse pool of qualified applicants, and, to that end, encourages you to forward this information to any qualified applicants, including qualified applicants with disabilities, who may be interested in working for the Division.
For your convenience, all current Division job announcements are listed below. Please also remind members of your organization that all our lawyer job announcements can always be found on the Division's homepage, http://www.justice.gov/crt/recruit.php. In addition, if you know of other organizations that might want to receive our job announcements, please let them know the process is very simple. They just need to send an email to CRT.SpecProgVacancies at usdoj.gov<mailto:CRT.SpecProgVacancies at usdoj.gov>. There are no elaborate forms to fill out - just an email indicating that the organization wishes to receive future job listings and the e-mail address for us to contact them. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have suggestions on how we can improve our outreach efforts. Thank you.
