[blindlaw] jury duty in Virginia?

Friends:

I'm sure we all have our own reasons and life experiences that govern what we do and how we behave as blind people. The characterization of one as "lazy", without any additional information, feels a bit pejorative and judgmental. Let's aspire to behave better than this in a public forum. Thanks!

I know of at least one blind person who has served on a jury here in
Virginia, though I suppose you could contact the court if you wanted
to try to be excused due to blindness.

Best,

Angie
