Hi.

Thanks for forwarding this.

I am not willing to sign this petition, and I plan on contacting the
DOJ in opposition.  I would also encourage others to do likewise.

When I first saw this last week, I typed up a long explanation on
exactly why I believe that the proposals in the petition were a bad
idea.  However, my kids pushed the mouse off the desk, clicking a
button which ended up deleting the message before I could send it.
Perhaps they disagreed with me. :)

Anyway, I had intended to rewrite my thoughts, but instead, I'll
simply point folks to the excellent summary of the problems written up
by the president of the National Association of Guide Dog Users.
