To: Law students and Lawyers seeking employment experience

As the ADA Coordinator at the Library of Congess, I am looking for networks for announcing paid and nonpaid work experience opportunities and internships. Our various departments offer a range of experiences in all disciplines. Law students and lawyers may be particulary interested in: The Congressional Research Services, US Copyright Office, Office of General Counsel and the Law Library.

The LC Ability Internship Program is an OIC Work Experience Program coordinated for individuals with disabilities interested in gaining valuable work experience at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. The program is available to three groups: highschool seniors, college students and also adult job seekers who are persons with disabilities.

Most positions are voluntary.

Please send a current resume and coverletter listing: areas of interest; weekly schedule; start date and end date and part or full time availability. Send the resume and cover letter to ADA at loc.gov<mailto:ADA at loc.gov>.

Please note that the Library of Congress also has a Selective Placement Program available.
