[blindlaw] Disability points of contact for attorney vacancies at DOJ

Hi all,

It's been a while since I've written, but I've been scrambling to find work since passing Washington's bar exam for the second time and reactivating my license to practice. After a several years' sabatical pursuingordained ministry, I'm launching my second career in my first profession.

How's that for being a retread?

Anyway, I've found some information that might be of interest.

While searching for "selective placement officers" at the Department of Justice whom I might contact regarding a Schedule A application, I discovered that Justice calls these persons "Disability Points of Contact." Justice maintains a webpage for experienced attorneys where the DPOC for each of its offices and divisions is listed with his or her email address and phone number.

I had to search through a few layers of pages to find this info, so I'd be happy to share it with anyone who wants it.

Just write to me here, or send me an email off list at rene0373 at gmail.com, and I'll pass it along.

I can also share my experience of studying for and passing the UBE and MPRE.

Cheers,

Elizabeth
