Hello Derrick,

First of all, congratulations on taking the chance to get some
experience before your first year of law school.

I would not be offended. Personally, I would have loved the option of
working with a visually impaired before starting law school. I
wouldn't even try calling to attempt sussing out the reasons. The
reasons are completely clear. It was a thoughtful question, and I
would advise that, at this point, the experience working with a
practicing visually impaired attorney would be better than any actual
experience you may get, particularly considering you don't have any
actual legal experience at this point.

One thing you'll learn when you start law school is that legal
analysis, and particularly legal writing, is an entirely new animal.
Being blind, however, is something you've already got experience with,
and you've got a fantastic opportunity ahead of you.

Best,
Chris
