I did just realize that if you are in a header/footer a "design" ribbon shows up, where you can control some of this.

First, how do you manage page numbers in Word generally? I can't find much about how to do this, or how to adjust header and footers with JAWS. Second, is there a way to have roman numeral numbers in the first section of a document with Arabic numerals in the second? If so, how do you do this with JAWS?
