(shoot me a note if you have any questions)

The United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor seeks a trial attorney to join the San Francisco Regional Office for a one-year term position. The position may be based in either the San Francisco or Los Angeles sub-Regional office. The term attorney will litigate a variety of wage and hour matters on behalf of the government, including matters arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Davis Bacon Act, and matters arising out of the various H visa programs for which the Secretary has been assigned responsibility pursuant to the Immigration and Nationality Act, as amended. Demonstrated interest in public interest law and/or experience with employment laws and/or vulnerable worker populations is desirable. Ability to speak a second language spoken by communities served by the Department is strongly preferred. Starting salary is commensurate with experience and includes benefits.
