[blindlaw] information

I'm a Windows user. My big question in switching to a Mac would be regarding comments and track changes in Word docs. This is a really common way that supervisors send me changes and comments on documents. If you have JAWS, as I do, interacting with these comments and changes is pretty easy. I don't know for sure, but I don't think you can do that on a Mac. And since Word for iOS is a joke accessibilitywise, I need to be on Windows. If you're a solo practitioner or the head of your legal office and you have the power to set how things are done, maybe Mac is fine. But as a young lawyer, I would not rely on it.

Hello everyone,

I started out law school with a Mac. I had to switch to Windows because I was not able to efficiently and efficiently utilize my textbooks nor was I able to use pages without major issues when writing documents. Just my 2¢ worth.

If you are familiar with iOS a lot of the same just yours can be used to control voiceover on the Mac he using the trackpad that makes things a lot easier. Some of the voiceover keystrokes are complicated keyboard gymnastics some say so using the trackpad can be easier in some of those instances. Would be happy to talk off list if you have further questions. Have a good weekend.

Recently, I saw that Siri is available on Mac computers, and I am thinking about getting one. Do you think Siri would help me learn the Mac operating system faster? Does anyone have any experience on converting from PC to Mac, and how long did it take you to master the Mac operating system.
