Hi Guys:

I am a totally blind paralegal who works for a totally blind attorney. We, like Mr. Dan and Ms Shannon, also do much criminal work involving vvoir diring of prospective jurors. Since both counsel and myself go over the preliminary questionaires before trial, we come up with additional individualized questions in order to engage the juror in conversation; we get a better read on their demeanor. Using all that coupled with eyes from the booth, (sighted assistance), we then use a 5 point scoring system, (worst to first) sort of thing to prioritize them.

This has been a great thread.

I’ll share about exhibits when that topic comes up.

Mike M.
