[blindlaw] Trial Advocacy, how to?

Deepa:

I have two recommendations for trial advocacy seminars. Jerry Spence, the
famous lawyer in Jackson Hole, Wyoming has an incredible trial seminar in
Jackson Hole annually. Though I have never been able to attend, I know
others that have and it is said to be the most incredible seminar these
people have ever attended.

Also, there is a trial advocacy skills course held every Spring in
Huntsville, Texas by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. It
starts Sunday afternoon and runs through Friday afternoon. I did attend this
course in 1992, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Deepa,
You may wish to read the trial advocacy books by Thomas Mauett.

I'd also like to know a good trial procedure treatis I ccan read, and/or a
good trial practice training session I can attend. I never took a trial
practice clinic in law school.

All

I wasn't proposing that this be taken off list, simply saying that if anyone
is more comfortable doing so for whatever reason I am open to that. After
all, I'm here to learn!

Thanks
