[blindlaw] Losing Place on Web Page

I’m not sure why you’re having this problem but as a JAWS user I can give you one solution that might help. You can put a temporary bookmark or placeholder whatever it’s called into the webpage before you switch out by using a controlled windows K command. This way if you lose your focus on the webpage when you go back into that window all you have to do is hit the letter K and it will bring you back to where you belong. I hope this helps you and fixes the problem until JAWS starts behaving the way it should
