It makes me wonder if an NFB resolution calling out Freedom Scientific for these shenanigans is in order.

SF would do better if it actually focuses on improvements that would improve accessibility for individuals on the job, and not the nonsensical features that are being released year after year in most cases.

I am not surprised the way you were treated; i have been there, too.

Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Hi.

Has anyone else had issues reading the full text of a long comment in a document?

This morning I used control+shift+apostrophe to bring up my list of comments. The first comment was really long and it would not read the whole thing. When you press enter on the comment, of course it just takes you back into the document. You can see where the comment is in the document but you can't read it there.

I called Freedom Scientific for help and they told me I needed to call Microsoft and tell them. Then they told me to use narrator. I tried using narrator with FS but it didn't work. Then FS tandemed into my computer to try reading the comment and had the same result as I did; he couldn't read the full comment.

I later was able to hear the full comment with alt+shift+apostrophe, but I can't read the text of the comment. I press the keystroke and it's read aloud, but it is a long and complicated comment so I want to be able to read it with the Braille display.

FS said that it's because my computer is set to update semi-annually rather than monthly, and that microsoft makes so many changes that my computer has to be set to update monthly. I put in a ticket with my local IT, but I can tell you they run updates all the time.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks.
