[blindLaw] Redacting text on PDF documents with jaws

I have yet to figure this out. I can select the text, go to the redaction menu, but the redaction does not take. I am not sure that there is a viable keyboard equivalent to handle the cursor-drag function that creates the redaction block. You also have to negotiate the proposed redaction block and the dialogue box to have the block actually "stick" in the document. When I performed a Google search to find out how to add redactions using keyboard commands, I got nothing all that useful. As a result, I tend to request a paralegal to add the redaction.

Note that changing the background of a selected area to black is not a proper redaction! Do not use it as a shortcut. It is still possible to copy and paste the text into something like Word and then read it just fine.

If anyone has applied either black (or white) box redactions, please let us know. I would love to know how to handle this.
