You have to look at the insurance policy. Business interruption insurance is usually part of the property insurance policy and often requires a casualty. However, some BI policies do not require a casualty.

Hello all

Can anyone point me to any leading authorities in US Courts on business interruption insurance claims? Is there a restatement of Insurance Law?

Many thanks.

Kind regards

Ger
