[blindLaw] Does anyone have NVDA and JAWS on their computer

I default to using NVDA when working with the web, Outlook or drafting documents. I switch over to JAWS when reviewing client documents, proofreading or working with some websites. Having multiple screen readers is helpful because for various reasons, some combinations of web browser or application and screen reader work better than others, but not universally so. Often, troubleshooting by opening the same page or document using a different browser or screen reader can mean the difference between night and day as far as usability and accessibility.

As a practical matter, NVDA does not interfere in any way with the functioning of JAWS. I like having both, as each handles certain materials better than the other. I hope that makes sense.
