You are invited to a special live streaming event:

*The Future of Accessibility and Law *

*Tuesday, May 19, 2020*

*4-5 p.m. ET (3-4 p.m. CT, 1-2 p.m. PT)*

Dear Aaron,

Please join us this *Tuesday, May 19th at 4 p.m. ET* for a “Live with
Kellye & Ken” webinar, which will feature a timely discussion of
accessibility and the Law. Equity in education and the legal profession
require attention to disability rights, both on their own and as they
intersect with other marginalized identities including race, gender, and
age. Given the rapid move to online education spurred by the COVID-19
pandemic, accessibility issues are even more urgent. Together with research
showing that one in five people have some form of disability, this is an
issue of growing importance to universities, law schools, and legal
employers – and is relevant to every part of the learning journey from
prelaw through practice.

This month's speakers include national leaders on accessibility who will
cover the latest research in the field, best practices for creating a
culture of accommodation, and workable takeaways for making needed reforms.
The session will be of interest to university and law school
administrators, law school candidates who want to understand law schools’
accessibility commitments, and to everyone who works for equity in law and
education.

Our guests this month will be:

   - *Peter Blanck, PhD, JD*, Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University
   - *Dean Michael Waterstone*, Loyola Law School, Los Angeles
   - *Dean Ron Weich,* University of Baltimore School of Law
   - *Leanne Shank*, Senior VP for Legal and Corporate Affairs and General
   Counsel, Law School Admission Council

This engaging discussion will include a Q&A period at the end.
