Yep this sounds about right. I stopped using Clio in 2018. Sounds like Tim Elder has had better experiences since then so I am encouraged to hear that they have improved and are receptive to continuing to do so.

I wish you the best of luck finding the right system! i'm curious to hear what system you end up deciding to go with. It's always beneficial to know what's accessible when haha.

There were lots of unlabeled buttons and circumstathere were lots of unlabeled buttons and circumstances where jaws could only read the underlying code instead of text or buttons and links. at that time I believe I was using Internet explorer but I think I also tried it with chrome. I consulted with some individuals with expertise in accessibility at the time and they confirmed that jaws scripts would have to be created to make it work well. I was in close communication with the folks at Clio during that time. And at first believe them to be committed to making their case management system accessible. then they launched a new version that was just horrible because accessibility had not been contemplated in the design. When I raise that issue with them after that point, I pretty much began to get lipservice and gave up. I did find their app to be much more accessible and used it on an iOS device as a workaround until I moved on from that place of employment. I found the experience frustrating and disheartening and I’m encouraged to hear that they now have an accessibility project manager. I don’t know if this information is at all helpful but I wish you the best of luck in finding a case management system that works for you. I am in a position where I am not practicing law so no longer have to worry about case management systems so I cannot recommend one at this time.
