Subject: FW: Wasserstein Fellowship Program 2021-22: Applications Now Open

The Office of Public Interest Advising (OPIA) at Harvard Law School is
pleased to announce that applications are now open for the
<https://hls.harvard.edu/dept/opia/wasserstein-fellows-program/wasserstein-f
ellow-applicant-information/> 2021-2022 Wasserstein Public Interest Fellows
Program.

Wasserstein Fellows are outstanding public interest lawyers who have
demonstrated an aptitude for mentorship and spend three consecutive days
advising individual Harvard Law students. Wasserstein Fellows also speak to
students in group settings and assist OPIA staff in developing advising
resources in their field of practice.

We seek applicants who have shown a long-standing commitment to public
interest law and possess interpersonal qualities that will enable them to be
effective career advisors. We aim to select a cohort of Fellows who reflect
the diversity of HLS students and who work in areas of law that are of
particular interest to our current students. We especially welcome BIPOC,
first-gen, and those working on voting rights, human rights, and criminal
justice reform to apply!

Please see our
<https://hls.harvard.edu/dept/opia/wasserstein-fellows-program/wasserstein-f
ellow-applicant-information/> website for additional information about the
program, and details on how to apply.

Applications are due by April 19, 2021.

Please share this announcement widely among your networks. If you know
colleagues, mentors, or mentees that would make an excellent Fellow, send me
their name and email, and I will invite them to apply.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding the Wasserstein
Public Interest Fellows. Thank you for all that you do!

Warmly,

Jillian Tuck
