There are ways to do this as a blind user. I recall having success in a version of Adobe Pro. You might check the latest version of Adobe DC. It will require some pretty solid general technology and special screen reader compitance. It wasn't simple to do and it didn't seem very efficient in my limited trial. I'd be more concerned that the review would need to be synchronized with document management software and ESI compliance.

Subject: [blindLaw] Any accessible tools for redacting documents?

Dear all,
I have been asked by a former colleague whether there are any accessible tools for redacting documents. She is trying to accommodate a blind attorney, whose primary task will be document review and—she hopes anyway—redaction. I am not aware of any, and I suspect there are none. But I want to do my due diligence and see if I can help her. Thanks!
James
