Have you tried the One Note app on windows? That would be one way to go. When I was practicing law, I used both One Note and an app called Keynote, which was similar to One Note. Very powerful notetaking solutions.

A Bluetooth Braille Display is way to go for the reasons you described.

I forgot to mention that I have a braille display, and I have it always connected to my computer through Bluetooth so I can move around the quart room and still have my braille display.
