Hi Brian, thanks for this information. I currently have Office 2016, with no way to change to O365. I’m glad to hear you’re not experiencing the same thing—it’s good to know I might have a better experience if we upgrade.
Thanks,
Angie

Hi Angie,
What version of Outlook are you using? I have Outlook 365, and used to have that problem but have not noticed it lately. I have it set to month view. I just did an experiment and set six appointments on a day and it correctly reported the number. In that view, you use the arrow keys to navigate between dates, and then when you are on the date and want to know what the appointments are, you tab to each appointment in turn. Hit enter on a particular appointment to view or edit the details. At least that is how it works for me, though I know user experience can vary widely.

Thanks Nikki and everyone else who responded to my calendar question. I decided to play around with the settings in my Blackberry Work application (which is an iOS app, notwithstanding the name). I found a view in that app that seems to give me roughly the same functionality as I previously had with the iOS calendar app. This is a great improvement from the way the Blackberry Work app was set before (which required me to go through each day hour by hour to check my appointments). So I guess I will continue using that and not rely on JAWS and Outlook for an accurate representation of my schedule.
Thanks,
Angie

I am experiencing the same. I don't have any suggestions with JAWS, but I look at Outlook on my iPhone and can see all events.

Subject: [blindLaw] JAWS and Outlook Calendar
Hello everyone,
For some time now, I’ve noticed that JAWS does not consistently report the correct number of events to me for a given day when I’m viewing my calendar in Outlook. I called FS tech support about this, but they did not have any suggestions other than to try different views and maximize the window, neither of which resolved the issue. Apparently, this is a known issue with JAWS and some versions of Outlook. So I thought I’d see if anyone here has a good strategy for dealing with this. Thanks for any suggestions.
Best,
Angie
