[blindLaw] LSAT study question

In 2006, I took a course from Kaplan, which was being offered as an in-person class in Durham, North Carolina. The instructors were helpful. They helped me get extra time to take the test with a reader, and helped me practice.

As a result, I was much more comfortable on the day, except for working with a stranger, who was doing the reading.

In 2010, I took an online course from Bar-Bri to prepare for the Virginia state bar, which I took in the state bar office in Richmond. There was a CD with the questions, as prerecorded synthetic speech. I wrote my answers on a computer, then the proctor printed out the essays and short answers, and transcribed the multiple choice questions to a sheet by filling in the bubbles.

I would suggest talking to the testing center where you plan to take the test, and find out which accommodations they offer and pick the ones that work best for you. Then, when you choose a study course, pick the one that most closely matches the accommodations you will be using on the day of the test. That way, you can practice the same way you will test.

I found the courses well worth the money because they gave structure to my preparations, and the instructors gave tips that helped me rule out at least two of the multiple choice answers very quickly.

Good luck, and let us know which methods you adopt, and, of course, the good news after you get your score.

Is there any software that you use to study for the test? May you please just tell me what you as a totally blind person did and how you did it to study for this test?
