[blindLaw] Accessibility of LSAT Remote Testing

I took the LSAT during Covid remotely and had no issues accessing the exam, writing sample or any other parts of the exam with JAWS. However, the proctor was not familiar with or refused to acknowledge accessibility or one of my accommodations. I could have stopped the test, per the proctor's suggestion, but had already completed two of the sections.

I don’t know what Proctor service provider they’re using now, but I have also heard there can be issues. Therefore, when I took it, I requested that I take the exam with an LSAC provided proctor through zoom. Sometimes the proctors that show up on the standard proctor service are not equipped to deal with people that have accommodations. If you get a proctor that’s assigned through LSAC and you do it over Zoom this seems to be the most frictionless method for remote testing in my experience.
