[Blindmath] Reading in Winedt

Dear all,

As many of you may know, Winedt is an editor which is designed for working with LaTeX. However, as a Jaws user with Braille display, I find it very difficult to read and edit text in Winedt. I therefore make my documents in notepad and use Winedt only as a tool to quickly compile and convert my files. When reading in Winedt, often parts of the text are not displayed. Refreshing the screen with insert+escape sometimes helps but only for a very short while. Refreshing the screen all the time is not very convenient.

Has anybody encountered inconveniences when working with Winedt in combination with Jaws, and are there tricks to overcome the problems? All other information to take advantage of Winedt's facilities as a screen reader user are welcome.

Cheers,
Bert
